Alumni Meet 2025 – Dubai

Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE) proudly hosted its grand and unforgettable Alumni Meet 2025 in the iconic city of Dubai - an evening that truly reflected the global footprint, unity and excellence of the PIMSE fraternity on 15th November, 2025 at Al Khooray Sky Garden Hotel.

The programme began with a warm and gracious welcome address by our beloved Director, Dr. Porinita Banerjee, who highlighted the institute’s milestones, global initiatives and the enduring bond shared with the alumni community. Her inspiring words set a dignified tone for the evening.

This was followed by introductory remarks from the Hon’ble General Secretary of AKI Trust, Mr. Hani Ahmed Farid, who shared the visionary roadmap of AKI, its commitment to educational excellence and its strategic plans for strengthening global presence. His address infused the gathering with motivation and pride in the legacy of AKI.

The evening saw a remarkable turnout as Dubai based alumni reunited to celebrate their journeys from classroom dreams to global achievements. Their vibrant presence turned the celebration into an exceptional and emotionally enriching experience.

The evening also witnessed a dynamic and high impact leadership session by our distinguished alumnus and renowned motivational speaker, Mr. Nadeem Kazi. His powerful insights captivated the audience and infused the gathering with renewed energy and purpose.

 A heartfelt felicitation ceremony honoured all our alumni led by the Hon’ble General Secretary Mr. Hani Ahmed Farid and Board of Trustees. A proud highlight was the special recognition of AKI Luminaries for their outstanding accomplishments and contribution to the AKI legacy.

We were also privileged to host members of Toastmasters Dubai whose presence added further refinement, warmth and professional brilliance to the evening.

The event concluded with closing remarks by Chairman of Poona College and PIMSE and Trustee of AKI, Dr. Hanif Lakdawala, who warmly acknowledged the strong presence, achievements and contributions of PIMSE alumni in Dubai. He expressed profound appreciation for their continued connection with the AKI family and encouraged them to remain active partners in the institution’s global vision.

The event was beautifully anchored by Ms. Khushboo Lone, our MBA II Year student, who ensured a seamless and engaging flow throughout the programme.
