The Convocation Ceremony 2026 of Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship, held on April 7, 2026, marked a significant milestone for the graduating batch of 2023–25, celebrating their academic achievements and transition into the professional world.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Hon. Hani Ahmed Farid, General Secretary of Y & M AKI Trust, and Guest of Honour Hanif Lakdawala, Trustee of Y & M AKI Trust, Prof. (Dr.) Porinita Banerjee, Director (In-charge) of PIMSE. The event commenced with an academic procession, followed by a welcome address and an institutional presentation highlighting key achievements.
In his address, Mr. Farid emphasized global opportunities, urging students to dream big. Dr. Lakdawala encouraged continuous learning and purposeful action, describing graduation as the beginning of a new journey.
Academic toppers from MBA, MBA-IT, and MBA-HRD programs were felicitated, followed by the conferral of certificates of appreciation to graduating students and cash prizes to the toppers. The ceremony also recognized student achievements in research, competitions, cultural activities, and sports at both national and international levels.
Additionally, certificates for add-on skill development programs offered by the institute to enhance employability were distributed.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, marking a memorable occasion that celebrated achievement and the promising journey ahead.
