Program Highlights
Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship organized a session under Alumni mentorship series for the students of MBA/MBA-IT/MBA-HRD titled “Performance Culture in Corporate – Resilience in shaping Talent Capability” on 13th May, 2023.
Mrs. Leonette Denis Henry was the speaker for the session. She explained lucidly the concept of performance culture in corporate which refers to a work environment that values and prioritizes results and productivity. She highlighted that in such a culture, employees are encouraged to work hard and continuously improve their skills and capabilities which ultimately leads to shaping the talent capability by creating a workforce that is adaptable, flexible, and responsive to changing circumstances. She also emphasized the features of high performance culture organisations. She further discussed the parameters with the students for developing an Individual Development Plan and its effectiveness in performance culture. She concluded that performance-oriented culture can have a positive impact on an organization's resilience and talent capability but it's important to ensure that it is balanced with other important factors to create a healthy and sustainable work environment.
The
students acknowledged the speaker and asked their queries which were answered
by her. The session finally ended with the vote of thanks.
