The Research and Development Cell of PIMSE organized an insightful session titled "Framing Effective Titles for Field Work Projects" on 9th January 2025. The session aimed at providing students with the essential skills and guidelines for creating impactful titles for their field work projects. The event was organized under the able guidance and leadership of our Director (Incharge), Dr.Porinita Banerjee, whose support was instrumental in making this session a success.
Dr. Anjum Sayyad, our esteemed in-house faculty, was the speaker for the event. Drawing from her extensive experience in research, Dr. Anjum Sayyad emphasized the importance of clarity, specificity, and relevance when framing titles for academic projects. She highlighted the critical role of conducting a thorough literature review and performing gap analysis before finalizing a research title. She explained how understanding existing literature helps identify research gaps, and how these gaps can guide the framing of precise and meaningful titles. Through practical examples, she demonstrated how students could transform their research findings into clear, concise, and impactful titles after a detailed review of literature and gap analysis.
The event concluded with a Q&A session where students actively participated, seeking advice on specific challenges they faced in formulating field work research project titles. The event was hosted by Mr. Zafar Ahmed Khan, member of the Research and Development Cell of PIMSE, who ensured smooth coordination throughout the session.
