An International Hackathon was successfully organized at Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship for MBA students on 3rd February 2026, under the guidance of Director (In-charge), Dr. Porinita Banerjee. The event was conducted by Spanish company Rivia, bringing global industry practices and real-world business challenges directly to the campus.
MBA students worked in teams through a structured Design Thinking process, where they analyzed real problems faced by Spanish companies, developed innovative solutions, created presentations, and presented their ideas to International Trainers. The Hackathon enhanced creativity, logical thinking, problem-solving ability, teamwork, and presentation skills, offering students valuable international exposure and experiential learning.
