Orientation Week 2025 at PIMSE: Day 1 Highlights

The Orientation Week for MBA, MBA–IT, and MBA–HRD students at Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE) commenced on 15th September 2025 with enthusiasm and active participation from our first-year students. The day was designed to provide insights into the institute’s values, academic framework, and a global perspective on career opportunities.

The sessions began with an inspiring address by Dr. Lionel D’Mello, who highlighted the vision, mission, and legacy of PIMSE. Dr. Vasimraja Sayed followed with a session on Code of Conduct, emphasizing discipline, ethics, and professionalism, while Dr. Anjum Sayyad guided students through the curriculum and learning outcomes.

The day also featured sessions on examination systems and evaluation processes by Dr. Zafar Ahmed Khan, certification programs to enhance employability by Dr. Payal Samdariya, and career development and placement policies by Mr. Talha Ahmed and Ms. Rekha Jain. The day concluded with Ms. Lubna Shaikh, who highlighted scholarships, financial support, and initiatives promoting education for girl students and minority communities.
