Program Highlights
During Orientation Week 2026, AKI’s Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE) introduced its newly inducted First Year MBA, MBA-IT and MBA-HRD students to Rotaract International – District 3131 through an informative and engaging session held on 22 September 2026.
The session was led by Rtr. Prem Bansode, Rotaract District Zonal Representative, Zone 7, and Rtr. Shrushti Shirore, Rotaract Assistant Zonal Representative, Zone 7. Director (In-Charge), Prof. Dr. Porinita Banerjee, felicitated the representatives and welcomed them to PIMSE.
The interaction introduced students to the opportunities and experiences offered through Rotaract, including networking, leadership, professional development, fellowship and community service. Students also learned how active participation can help them build connections, take up responsibilities and develop practical skills beyond the classroom.
The representatives highlighted opportunities for global exposure, international exchanges, workshops, certifications, CSR initiatives and leadership roles, encouraging students to actively engage with the platform.
The session encouraged students to Connect. Develop. Lead. Serve. while making the most of opportunities that support their personal and professional growth.
