Corporate Session-Beyond Degrees: Industry Expectations and Graduate Readiness

In association with the National Institute of Personnel Management(NIPM) Pune Chapter, Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship organised a session on “Beyond Degrees: Industry Expectations and Graduate Readiness” to address the gap between academic learning and industry skills on 19th November, 2024. Dr. Ajit Gangadhar Thakur, Head HR and EHS, Saarloha Advanced Materials Pvt Ltd and Secretary of NIPM-Pune Chapter, delivered the keynote address, drawing from his 25+ years of experience in HR, Industrial Relations, and EHS across various sectors.
Dr. Thakur highlighted the importance of aligning academic knowledge with industry expectations, adaptability, and continuous learning. His insightful address inspired students to enhance their professional readiness.
