Actively participated in the Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026 Campaign

AKI Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE), Pune, actively participated in the Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026 Campaign, themed “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag; Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat,” with the objective of fostering civic responsibility, environmental consciousness and active community participation among students.

As part of the campaign, PIMSE collaborated with the Adar Poonawalla Clean City Initiative to organise a cleanliness drive on 3rd October, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. along the Shinde Chhatri route, Wanawadi, Pune. The initiative brought together students and institutional representatives with a shared commitment towards creating a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable environment.

The cleanliness drive provided students with an opportunity to move beyond classroom learning and actively contribute to the community. Students enthusiastically participated in cleaning activities along the designated route, helping remove waste and promoting greater awareness about the importance of maintaining public spaces. Their active involvement reflected a strong sense of social responsibility, teamwork and commitment towards the well-being of the community. The collaboration with the Adar Poonawalla Clean City Initiative further strengthened the outreach and effectiveness of the activity by bringing together institutional participation and community-oriented cleanliness efforts.

The initiative was conducted by PIMSE’s Social Cell ‘Seva’. The whole campaign concluded with a renewed commitment among the participants to continue contributing towards cleanliness, environmental sustainability and responsible citizenship, thereby giving meaningful expression to the vision of “Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat.”
