Birth Anniversary of Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule

Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE) celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule on Saturday, 3rd January 2026. Dr. Porinita Banerjee, Director (In-charge), offered a floral tribute, followed by a Signature Tribute activity with active participation from faculty and staff.

Savitribai Phule’s pioneering work in women’s education, social equality and the upliftment of marginalized sections continues to shape a progressive society. The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Payal Samdariya and Dr. Anjum Sayyad, and the day resonated with the spirit of her transformative social reforms.
