Program Highlights
On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, a special felicitation ceremony was organized on 9th March 2026 to honor the dedicated women police officers of Shivajinagar Police Station. The event was conducted under the inspiring theme “Give to Gain,” recognizing the invaluable service and commitment of women in uniform who tirelessly work to safeguard society and ensure the safety of citizens.
The program paid tribute to the remarkable courage, resilience and compassion demonstrated by women police officers who stand on the frontlines every day. Their role in maintaining law and order, protecting communities and supporting citizens reflects their unwavering dedication and sense of responsibility toward society. Despite demanding duties and personal sacrifices, these officers continue to serve with pride, determination and integrity.
The occasion was graced by Sr. PI Dighavkar Sir and PI Kalange Sir, whose presence added significance to the ceremony. During the event, WPSI Walse Madam and WPSI Jadav Madam were felicitated for their outstanding contribution to community safety and public service.
It was a proud and emotional moment to express gratitude to the women who make us feel safe and secure. Our beloved Director (Incharge), Dr. Porinita Banerjee personally felicitated each female police officer in recognition of their courage, resilience, and compassion in maintaining law and order while inspiring others through their commitment to public service.
