Program Highlights
The students of Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship, Pune undertook an educational visit to the Pune Book Festival on 17 December 2025. The Pune Book Festival was organized at Fergusson College, F.C. Road, Shivajinagar, Pune. This visit proved to be highly beneficial in promoting reading habits among students, introducing them to books on various subjects, and enhancing their overall knowledge.
The educational visit was organized by Mr. Talha Ahmed and Mr. Mubarak Tamboli . The visit was conducted under the guidance of the institute’s Honourable Director (In-charge), Dr. Porinita Banerjee.
The Pune Book Festival featured an extensive exhibition of books from various publishing houses, along with works by renowned authors. Books related to academics, literature, competitive examinations, management, entrepreneurship, technology, and personality development were displayed. The students visited different stalls, gathered information about various books, and purchased books of their interest. Some students also interacted with authors and gained insights into their writing processes.
The visit proved to be inspiring for the students, as it helped develop an interest in reading and broaden their intellectual horizons. The accompanying faculty members expressed that such educational activities contribute significantly to the overall development of students.
Overall, the educational visit to the Pune Book Festival was successfully conducted.
