Guest Lecture on Usage of Online Resources in Learning for Students in Today’s Digital World

On November 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM, PIMSE organized a guest lecture titled “Usage of Online Resources in Learning for Students in Today’s Digital World”. The session aimed to equip students and faculty with skills to leverage online resources, digital tools, and library technologies for enhancing learning in the digital era.
In a fast-paced technological world, it is essential for educators and students to stay updated with innovative resources and tools. This lecture highlighted the growing importance of e-resources, digitalization, and the application of library tools to foster effective learning.
The guest speaker, Prof. (Dr.) Meenal Kedar Oak, Librarian at MES’s Institute of Management & Career Courses, provided valuable insights on digital resources, offering credible information supported by practical examples. Her engaging and interactive approach ensured the session was both informative and impactful.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from over 50 students across PIMSE courses, demonstrating their interest in using digital resources to enhance their learning experience. Organized under the guidance of Dr. Porinita Banerjee, Director (In-charge) of PIMSE, the library committee and teaching staff ensured the event’s success through their coordination and support.
This session not only educated participants on effectively utilizing online resources but also highlighted the importance of staying current with technological advancements in education.
