Under the initiative of Internal Quality Assurance Cell, A batch of MBA Ist Year and IInd Year along with MBA-HRD students (22) with Mrs. Tahemina Pathan, Dr. Payal Samdariya and Dr. Anjum Sayyad being the Subject faculties visited Bharat Forge Limited at Mundhwa on Thursday, 29th March, 2018. Bharat Forge Limited (BFL), the Pune based Indian multinational and the world's largest forging company is a technology driven global leader in metal forming having transcontinental presence across ten manufacturing locations, serving several sectors including automotive, power, oil and gas, construction & mining , rail, marine and aerospace.
The session started at the Training centre of Bharat Forge where Mrs. Leena Deshpande, Associate Vice-President (HR-Training) briefed about the great history and the present growth of Bharat Forge in Indian Economy. She also highlighted about the challenges the industry is going through in the current era of robotics. Then Mr. Tale Punjabrao, Assistant Manager (Engineering) gave the presentation on the various processes that the company follows with regards to forging and designing.
