Under the initiative of Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship, The Placement Team at PIMSE organized an Industrial Visit at I-Medita, Pune Cisco Networking Labs for the students of Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship on 10th March, 2022. Over 40 students of MBA, MBA-IT and MBA-HRD visited I-Medita Networking Labs and were introduced to the world of Networking .The motto of this Industrial visit was to give practical insights about Networking Industry and to discuss how they can start their high flying careers in the Networking domain.I-Medita has Pune’s Biggest Cisco Networking Labs which consist of large number of Racks consisting Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls etc. Students visited these labs and interacted with CCIE experts. During this Industrial Visit, details about Networking Devices and their industrial practices were also discussed amongst students. The visit was initiated by Mr. Sugandh and Mr. Sudanshu CCCIE VOICE 41212- an Expert in VoIP Networking Domain. He shared deep practical insights about the role of networking in today’s industries, the functionalities of networking devices like Routers, Switches, firewalls etc. in communication and the working of Data Canters, etc. Demonstration on Real time Networks was also shown to students.
Our beloved Director Dr.Porinita Banerjee delivered the welcome address and a vote of thanks was delivered by our student to express gratitude for such an enlightening and experiential learning session to the Placement team members Dr. Anjum Sayyad, Mr. Lionel D’mello and Mr. Talha Ahmad.
