AKI Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE) organized an Industrial visit to Solidus Hi-Tech Products Pvt. Ltd. on 6th May 2026 for the students of 1st yr MBA, MBA-IT, and MBA-HRD. The visit was arranged with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to industrial operations, manufacturing processes, and organizational functioning.
Solidus Hi-Tech Products Pvt. Ltd. is a well-established manufacturing company known for its expertise in sheet metal manufacturing, automotive components, enclosures and industrial storage solutions.
The company representatives explained various stages involved in production, quality control, assembly, and supply chain management. Students also gained insights into modern manufacturing technologies, industrial safety measures, teamwork, and the importance of efficiency and innovation in today’s competitive industrial environment.
The students had the opportunity to observe the functioning of different departments and understand how theoretical concepts learned in classrooms are implemented in real-time industrial settings. The visit proved especially beneficial for MBA, MBA-IT, and MBA-HRD students in understanding organizational structure, workforce management, production planning, and technological integration within industries.
The industrial visit was highly informative and interactive, helping students bridge the gap between academic learning and practical industry exposure. It also motivated students to develop professional skills, industry awareness, and a better understanding of corporate work culture
