On 5th October 2025, PIMSE organised an Industrial Visit to the Symbiosis Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SCEI) under the guidance of our Director (In-charge), Dr. Porinita Banerjee.
Our MBA students had an engaging and interactive session with Dr. Saptarshi Ghosh, CEO of SCEI, who shared valuable insights on:
The evolution of entrepreneurship in India
The mindset of an entrepreneur
The steps to start a venture
Dr. Ghosh explained that a founder first identifies gaps in the market and then conducts thorough research on the product before launching. He also highlighted the critical role of incubation centres in supporting aspiring entrepreneurs through guidance, mentorship, and resources.
The session was highly interactive and inspiring, leaving students with a deeper understanding of the startup ecosystem.
