The year 2020-21 has been extremely challenging for the retail sector owing to the Pandemic. Now that the lockdown is lifted, our stores are operational with all the safety guidelines. With the End of season Sale ready to kick in, it gives me immense pleasure to invite your college for internship program across our Pune stores.
Job Role
Framework of Internship Program is as follows:
1. Internship period will be for one month. Looking forward to onboard the interns from 1st Oct 2021, will do confirm with dates.
2. Interns will get guidance through on floor work and in-house training programs on Selling skills and techniques(AIDA Techniques), Style Quotient , customer service standards in retail industry, importance of product and fabric knowledge , Retaining quality despite financial strains, Improving Profitability through Operational Efficiency, Customer touch points , Importance of Merchandise presentation and product presentation in organized new era retail, Importance of operational parameters in organized retail , customer categorization (on the basis of their psychological behavior and on the basis of their purchasing behavior), Pantaloons loyalty program etc. by our in house retail professionals; students can choose these topics as internship Project.
3. Considering the current scenario, we have adopted various alternate channel of sales and hence the students stand a chance to get a holistic learning experience.
4. Students will get help to choose their projects , and periodical assessments of project progress report will be done by business team with the help of regional team and respective institute faculty members.
5. Screening process will be conducted virtually through Telephonic /Via Zoom/Teams Call
6. Students will be placed for internship at any of the following location as per discretion of project guide etc. :
