CAMPUS LIFE AT PIMSE
Another morning at Poona Institute of Management Sciences & Entrepreneurship (PIMSE). However, this was a bit different because our professor had called study group of students for an outdoor activity followed by role play, Faculties are there to encourage them on the ground just outside the Building. The student from diverse states brings an interesting blend of language and culture which they reflect in such outdoor and class room activities. The class room sometimes outburst with students laughing when someone use typical regional accent or use funny gestures, this is regional and cultural diversity that we have... Welcome to PIMSE!!!
Talking about the natural surroundings of the campus which looks beautiful with tall lush green trees supplying fresh air to young brains and making campus healthier, as you cross the basketball court watching students dribbling the ball and demonstrating team work and accuracy you will come across with a place which acts as a catalyst in almost every institute by continuous supply of tea and snacks, the place known as cafeteria or canteen in general where you will find group of future managers brainstorm on casual and academic topics and discussions.
Moving ahead you can now witness two floors beautiful building welcoming you with three PG courses inside named MBA, MBA-IT, and MBA-HRD affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, AICTE & Govt. of Maharashtra Approved. Entering into the main building gate you will hardly find a day when you will not see a poster of any activity or event being organized in campus which instantly draws your attention by calling you to be a part of it, instantly on you left side notice board you see smiling faces standing outside the gate of Mercedes Benz assembling unit during their Industrial Visit and other pictures of Pre placement talks, corporate sessions, corporate tie ups and campus drive and then next moment you realize that you have just crossed the door of opportunities and bright career welcoming you with open arms.
With ground floor consisting of Notice boards with schedules, time tables and memories posted and then you will find long counter with non teaching staff seated to collect your fees, giving you information about scholarship and other important forms and admission documents. The floor also consists of the room of the brain behind every single success story and offerings to you which is the cabin of Dr. Porinita Banerjee Director(Incharge), apart from Conference Hall, Exam Hall, and Guest Room.
The stair case leads you to the first floor with motivational quotes mounted on the wall pumping you up as you climb each stair up and finally reached the floor on which you will be spending most of the quality time with 14,516 books and 52 magazines and journals (to be specific) waiting for you in the Library to get explored along with computers in two labs one of which is on the same floor welcomes you to search and get knowledge on the click of a button which is also now transformed as access is also provided on your cell phones and laptops though wifi. Decided to move up on the second floor where you can see a big Seminar Hall with ACs, comfortable chairs and a big Stage in front waiting for you to write and to witness Corporate Sessions, Conferences, Workshops, cultural and management Activities and manymore. Moving out of the hall on the same corridor you will find some class rooms and lastly a room with cabins where the young mentors are preparing themselves for surprise quizzes, assignments, placement activities, cultural activities, class studies and after all this, if you get time, get some sleep. This is Life at PIMSE.
