Program Highlights
An interactive review and discussion session was conducted on 8th January, 2025 with the staff of Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship in the august presence of Honourable Mr. Hani Ahmed Farid, General Secretary of the AKI Trust, along with Dr. Hanif Lakdawala and Mr. Irfan Furnichurewala, Trustees of the AKI Trust. The institute was also honoured by the presence of Dr. Ibrahim Bassa, Delegate from the United Kingdom.
The session commenced with a warm welcome to the Honourable leadership and distinguished guests. Mr. Hani Ahmed Farid addressed the staff, sharing the vision for institutional growth and emphasizing adherence to high academic and administrative quality benchmarks. His address motivated faculty and staff to strive for excellence and reaffirmed the institute’s long-term strategic direction.
Dr. Ibrahim Bassa led the discussions by sharing insights into academic standards and practices followed by universities in the United Kingdom. He emphasized the importance of strengthening innovative teaching methodologies aligned with international best practices, enhancing industry–academia collaboration to improve student exposure and employability, and promoting a strong research culture through interdisciplinary projects, faculty–student collaboration, and academic publications.
The interaction proved to be highly constructive and motivating for the PIMSE team. The institute expresses its sincere gratitude to the Honourable leadership and distinguished guests for their valuable guidance, encouragement, and continued support towards academic excellence and institutional development.
