Cognitive Abilities: Choose Right

PIMSE organised a special workshop for ? the students by Captain Dr. Sukhwinder Kaur, Assistance VP operations OCS Group India Pvt Ltd, who has over 10+ years of experience in the corporate industry. 

She has worked with top companies like Amdocs, Credit Suisse CBRE, ADP, freelance educator as well as owner of paratha house. Dr. Kaur is currently working as in operations at OCS Group India Pvt Ltd. This session was conducted in both online and offline mode under the able guidance of Dr. Porinita Banerjee, Director PIMSE.

Dr. Kaur had answered all the questions asked by the students related to the career guidance by considering all the management specialisation of Marketing, Finance and Human Resource. She emphasised on the vision as well as on the goal that is framed by the individuals in their life. However, she focused on the key skills like communication, active listening, managing and also the importance of calculations that should be prioritised on a daily basis. 

Dr. Sukhwinder Kaur accentuated that learning should be the main priority of each and every individual at any age. She also mentioned the enthusiasm towards learning and earning in her current phase of life. The main aspect she stated was stepping up and overcoming the excuses and creating opportunities. Therefore, she concluded the session by thanking the management of PIMSE and wishing good luck for all the students in developing their career.

Students were mesmerised by the guest speaker’s pearls of wisdom and gems of knowledge that surely they will inculcate in their learning and help them in choosing the right specialisation in turn helping them in the path to their career.
