Program Highlights
On 11th March 2025, under the directions of our Director (Incharge), Dr. Porinita Banerjee, students from Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship—Ms. Tejasvi Kamble, Ms. Vishakha, Ms. Rama Chintaguntla, and Ms. Srinivasulu Pade—were mentored and motivated to participate in the Pune - IIC IP & TT Workshop. The event was co-organized by the Innovation Centre, Western Region, Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell, and Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering, Lavale, Pune.
The workshop provided in-depth knowledge on Intellectual Property (IP) rights and Technology Transfer (TT), covering essential topics such as patent filing, trademarks, copyrights, and the commercialization of innovations. As a result of their participation, the students developed a deeper understanding of intellectual asset management, learned strategies for commercializing innovations, and cultivated an entrepreneurial mindset. The workshop also provided valuable networking opportunities with industry experts and peers, equipping students with the knowledge and connections to apply these learnings in their future careers and ventures. This initiative further reinforced the Institute’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among its students.
