Program Highlights
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE) organized a 3-day workshop titled "Tableau Vs. Power BI: Unlocking the Power of Data Visualization Tools" on 21st, 27th, and 28th January 2025. Led by renowned Business Consultant and Trainer Mr. Gaurav Gandhi, the workshop provided hands-on training in Tableau and Power BI, focusing on key features, report and dashboard creation, and real-world business applications.
Day 1 covered Power BI's architecture, Power Query, and DAX. Day 2 explored Tableau’s advanced visualization capabilities. The final day compared both tools, analyzing their strengths, limitations, and suitability for various business needs.
The workshop was a success, thanks to the support and guidance of Dr. Porinita Banerjee, Director (Incharge), and the management of Anjuman Khairul Islam's Y & M, whose dedication to educational development ensured smooth execution. The event was coordinated by Mrs. Lubna Shaikh, and participants praised the balance between theory and practice, gaining valuable skills in data visualization.
