Program Highlights
As part of the Orientation Week 2026 at AKI’s Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE), our newly inducted First Year MBA, MBA-HRD and MBA-IT students were introduced to Toastmasters International through an engaging and insightful session.
The session was conducted by the Toastmasters International team, with Ms. Mukta Nadkar, DTM, District Parliamentarian, taking the role of Presiding Officer, and TM JeanLuc Faye, Area G5 Director, as the Table Topics Test Speaker, along with the Toastmasters team.
Through live demonstrations, the team showcased how a Toastmasters session functions, including speaking on a prepared topic within a simulated time limit, speaking spontaneously on a given topic and the speech evaluation process.
The demonstrations gave students a glimpse into how Toastmasters works towards developing communication, confidence, public speaking, leadership and overall soft skills and personality development.
A valuable and practical session that introduced our students to a platform focused on learning, self-expression and continuous personal growth.
