In a momentous gathering on 09th October, 2024, the Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE) celebrated its prestigious ‘A’ grade accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The event brought together esteemed guests, staff members and students all united in recognition of this significant achievement.

Hon.ble Hani Ahmed Farid, General Secretary of the AKI Trust was the chief guest and Dr. Hanif Lakdawala, Trustee of AKI Trust and Chairman of Poona College and PIMSE Committee served as guest of honor for the event.

Dr. Porinita Banerjee, the esteemed Director of PIMSE  delivered the welcome address emphasizing the importance of the accreditation as a reflection of the hard work of the entire PIMSE community. Mrs. Lubna Shaikh, the IQAC Coordinator, then took the stage to recount the journey towards NAAC accreditation detailing the milestones that paved the way for this achievement. This was complemented by a video presentation that showcased the collective efforts of everyone involved throughout the accreditation process.

The keynote address was given by Dr. Hanif Lakdawala, Trustee of the AKI Trust and Chairman of Poona College and PIMSE Committee inspiring attendees to commit to continuous improvement and excellence.

Hon.ble Hani Ahmed Farid, General Secretary of the AKI Trust delivered the presidential address highlighting the significance of the accreditation urging everyone to carry this momentum forward in their future endeavors.

The celebration culminated in a heartfelt NAAC felicitation segment by Hon.ble Hani Ahmed Farid, General Secretary of the AKI Trust honoring both teaching and non-teaching staff whose hard work and dedication were instrumental in achieving this milestone. Each honoree was recognized for their contributions reflecting the collaborative spirit of the institution. In recognition of student contributions, a group of distinguished students were also felicitated.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Vasimraja Sayed who expressed appreciation for the efforts of everyone involved in making the day a resounding success
