FDP on “Industrial Disputes: A Journey from Conflict to Cordiality”

Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship organised a session on “Industrial Disputes: A Journey from Conflict to Cordiality” on 19th January, 2019 under the Faculty Development Workshop. The session was well coordinated by Dr. Tahemina Pathan, HOD, MBA and Mr. Mandar Brahme under the guidance of our director Dr. Shakeel Ahmed.
The session was addressed by Mr. Sambhaji Kakade, Ex Deputy Labour Commissioner, Government of Maharashtra. In his session Mr. Kakade began with the history of Industrial revolution and encompassed the topics such as Trade Unionism and Industrial Disputes. In his talk Mr. Kakade covered pertinent laws and spoke about the role of Labour Commissioners’ office. His citation of live industry examples made it a very livid and engaging session.
Faculty members of PIMSE, Poona College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Abeda Inamdar Senior College participated in the event along with the students.
