Visit to Adept Industries

Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship organized an industrial visit to Adept Industries on September 23, 2023, for the students of the MBA/MBA-IT/MBA-HRD students. The primary objective of this visit was to offer valuable insights into the operations of Adept Industries, a renowned paper bag manufacturing company located in Pune.

Mr. Aditya Thakur, Plant Manager at Adept Industries, provided an in-depth understanding of the paper bag manufacturing process, encompassing aspects such as raw materials and quality control. He also spoke about managing variations in paper thickness within the manufacturing process. Mr. Sharabh Nath Nagar, Partner at Adept Industries conducted a comprehensive discussion on the company's unwavering commitment to sustainability, particularly through the extensive use of recycled paper.
